Film Review - Is This Really Depressing?

The president, played by meryl streep, is essentially a female version of donald trump. And it depicts large sections of the american public completely willing to buy into lies when all they can do is literally look up and see the truth. At the end, mean, spoiler alert, like the earth is destroyed. It's just basic sas, we're all going to die. Ime, i could understand a film that cretiqued the dis function of government, the di function of industry,. but this one offers no hope or wav for other than as leonardo de caprio's character does numerous times throughout the movies.
