The Future of Search Funds
I actually think search funds are in a really unique position at the moment. And I think it's a really positive one. The big challenge for companies going forward is going to be maintaining those margins because we do have price pressures. If you can't pass on the price, then you need to push your costs down. But for search funds where perhaps they've been under invested in just simply because of the life cycle of the owner, there's scope to see that bottom line be pushed down plus you've got potential growth opportunities. So I do think at the moment the search fund is a really niche and exciting space to be.
