Generics

How are you measuring success of generics? How do we know if it was a good thing to have done or not? In, say, five years? Wy, well, i think that the major signal there is adoption. That's a very nebulous evaluator. But we can look at more specific things like, are there libraries that people write that use generics, that other people then use? And so we can look for all kinds of signals about how much i adoption is happening.
