Is There a Crossover Between Data Engineering and Analytical Tools?
At Yammer the way our team was structured was data engineering and the analytics team all reported up to the same person like it was all part of one one or working so we were. They were there costs are they are. We were their customers I don't know which I want. Back then there was a blog post that said something like an analyst shouldn't wear a data sign or data engineers should not write it to you. That was exactly what what was happening. And now with tools such as Redshift, DBT is able to combine those two roles in some ways.
