Introduction
Re work is a podcast by bas camp about the better way to work and run your business. This week we meet katherine mallard, who works at an ice cube observatory in antarctic Antarctica. The experiment detects tiny sub atomic particles called nutrinos which are extremely hard to detect. To avoid interference from background radiation, nutrino detectors need to be buried deep underground. They also need some sort of transparent medium. Ice cube uses the thick, pure and ultra transparent ice that's found at the south pole.
