The best editors act as morcan coaches. Or guides to their writersd and the best editors tend to edit the writer more so than the writing, from what i found. They're not just looking out for ways to improve this particular pace, but they're also looking out for kind of common habits, negative writing habits that the writer has ideas that they could rull into a future pace. So i definitely encourage writers to push back on a changes and suggestions that we're making in the document. And really make it moreof a back and forth process, like you say, rather than just one way straight.
