People are being told it's 2030 that petrol and diesel cars be phrased. It's actually really 2035. But who buys new, you can buy a second hat, you'll be able to buy a secondhand diesel car in 2040. So it's being misrepresented. Even under these, the SMMT, the Society of Motor manufacturers and traders, their own projections suggest that by 2035,. half of the vehicles on our variable will still be in total combat new vehicles. And will continue to be safe for a while. They'll need to be replaced with battery electric.
