Is Natural Gas Going to Be the Most Expensive Source of Heating and Electricity?

A lot of folks over the summer talking about these sort of carbon-intensive or I guess- energy-intensive equivalents. So for example, coal was cheap relative to natural gas and oil was cheap as well. Heating oil has been traded very actively by speculators this year on a bet that natural gas consumption would be substituted with heating oil consumption. And we've seen various official messages, for example, in Switzerland, but also elsewhere in southern parts of Germany, asking the public sector to utilize heating oil instead of natural gas.
