The Power of Failure
This is a great scene too. Maybe one of Stallone's best acting scenes. The authenticity from the real life is unparalleled in this movie. I think there's an immense power in deciding upfront. Like does my character need to win? You know, does my character needs to achieve the goal? Is there a way that I can make it emotionally satisfying without them actually achieving the goal with their failure? Because failure can be just as like emotionally, like pig, for example.
