VideoAssisted Flexible Endoscopic Intubation for Difficult Anatomy

Vafy is a powerful airway technique that will allow relatively straightforward intubation of patients with very difficult anatomy. The primary drawback of Vafy is that it requires two operators, one to perform video laryngoscopy and one to advance the flexible endoscope. It can be incorporated into a breathing intubation approach like topicalized awake or ketamine only but can also be performed quickly enough to be used with paralysis and rapid sequence intubation especially when combined with hyperangulated geometry blades.
