The Kingship of Jesus and the Queen of Mary
Roxanne Jones: To a Jewish reader of the New Testament, it would have been obvious to them that if Jesus is king, then Mary has this special queenship role. She says in Revelation she's both an actual woman who's giving birth to the Savior and at the same time associated with the church. Jones: The crown of 12 stars representing the 12 tribes of Israel and the 12 apostles are perfect for how Catholics see Mary.
