The popular impression of Savonarola is of this religious fanatic who for a couple of years ruled Florence with an iron fist, presume. He would allegedly send his teenage boys into people's houses to take all of their art and then set them on fire. So you describe a different man in your chapter. That's my ecumenical chapter because the best Catholics and the best Protestants, all like Savonarolas.
