Is a Teenager Making Up Gender Issues?

How do you tell when a teenager client is making up gender issues? I don't know that I would... I don't agree with the premise of the question. So sometimes they're making it up and sometimes they're not. There are ways to assess things. You could, for example, assess malingering around gender identity disorder. And there are some tests that you can do to sort of see, okay, is this person making it up or not?
