Introduction

Dr. Nora Diesis: Dr. Kimmy Ng is associate chief of the Division of Gastrointestinal Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. She and I will be discussing the four practice-changing abstracts that were presented at the plenary session this year. Many of them showcase advances in targeted therapies and immunotherapies, which can delay need for treatments with more side effects such as radiation or chemotherapy.
