The Power of Reading

When I find an author who's prose I really enjoy especially I just want to read all the things. And so that often dictates what I read and then I do browsing the book stores a lot. Time magazine at one point did it top 100 novels from the time when time magazine itself started publishing but there were always some duds on any of those lists. The Red Lucky Jim by Kingsley Amos is one of my favorite comic novels. It turns out he was quite brilliant at that Lucky Jim is an amazing sort of classic comedy of manners and drinking.
