What Is Driving People's Views About Politics?

I was chatting to somebody yesterday and they said that when you're out knocking on the doors in the by-election, things like party gate or political shenanigans matter a lot less. And I just wonder what's your sense of like how people actually make a decision when it comes to who to vote for? Well, cost of living is 90% of it. If you go round on the door steps with an MP, it will be all about council tax rises. This is about survival. The wheels have come off the Conservative Party at this point. At least one wheels come off. Whether they can actually get down the motorway and get over the finishing line is increasingly unlikely though.
