The Moral Importance of a Law
We have the sense that laws should somehow be reflective of mores or morals. Hart doesn't say, but I think is, I don't want to say it's implied in his view. Such rules overlap with basic moral principles, vetoing murder, violence, and theft. And so we can add to the factual statement that all legal systems coincide with morality at such vital points.
