Is Castration a Cause of Obesity?
Castration performed at a tender age before puberty effectively tends to obliterate the characteristics of the male sex. It seems though that what is in question here is not the actual loss of the sex glands, but an inhibition connected with that loss and the development of other factors. So he's very right to say that obviously post puberty castration. Does it necessarily affect the libido in a way that we might think right?
