The Reality of the Church
The church has been given to us as our mother. We can only have a life if we remain in Christ without whom we can do nothing. I love the image also of the church as the building of God. Jesus compares himself to the stone rejected by the builders who has become the cornerstone. But also, you know, St. Peter describes this as living stones built into this holy temple of God. The church always is in constant, just like individuals, right?
