The Double Diamond in Design and Product Development
Designers start with multiple options, then whittle them down to something really narrow and defient. Same thing with product - you get a lot of feedback from prospective customers; sift through it for useful or not. You go out and validate those again, and then you come in. It works in business. And the best companies in the world do that because it's functional. Like we have to get messy, like innovation gets messy before it becomes refined. We have to go and experiment with ten hundred different things. The same sort of thinking can be applied to evolution of civilization.
