The Role of Potassium Channels in Cancer
A drug that blocks potassium channels in mice reduces the number of cancer cells migrating to lungs. The study underscored the role of these potassium channels, and if you can target and control those potassium ion channels, you may be able to control the cancer. But in that case, it was a drug, it was an electricity you were using, it wasn't an electrode that you were putting on the tissue.
