i was working at bdo, and i just started taking on moonlight work that really did not conflict with what i was doing there. I would do a person's taxes here or there, and they'd pay me money, and id just put it in my checking account. Bad work does not les scale in to good work. There are many reasons to set up your own alicy. You can become an escort, and then you can start paying yourself a salary. The difference between the income, the net your escort pays tax on or your escort, passes through to you, and the salary you pay yourself without being subject to self employment taxes.
Mitchell Baldridge is an accountant and financial planner who also identifies as a libertarian anarchist crypto-degenerate. We talk through the creation of his firm, everything financial planning entails, and how he flipped a Bored Ape NFT for $250k. A little something for everyone today! Mitchell can’t be everyone’s personal planner and accountant, (though he is mine and I’m very grateful for that!) but he offers expertise that can help anyone. Taxes are likely your single largest expense over your entire life, so it pays to understand them.
