Some people are just not susceptible to them and some people are really drawn to them. I feel like the kind of thinking that allows for you to be open to conspiracy theories is also the type of thinking that leads to brilliant breakthroughs in science. To me, this is like first principles thinking. Yeah, the earth looks flat. So I'm going to look around here. And I like how crazy is it that the earth is round and there's a thing called gravity that operates between objects that's related to the mass of the object. That's crazy. Yes, the truth is often crazier than what what the situation feels to be a good step is to question what everyone is saying.
