The Federal Reserve is saying, we don't see consumer prices going down in the way we want them to. So obviously it means the past rate hikes didn't work in the way they thought they were and they're just going to keep doing it until eventually they get the result they want. That's exactly what the intent here is. And then they're going to say, yes, see how powerful we are. It took us two years or it took us however long.
