The Importance of Ethnography in Public Health

I think we see this a lot even, you know, right in our own backyard when we look at social interventions for public health emergencies. It's like all these little things that we don't take the time to understand the actual everyday effects of them. So why are people in Bangladesh, malnourished? It has everything to do with this history of colonialism and politics and economy. And science didn't just arrive on the scene, innocently, having no part of this history.
