The Importance of Enhancement

Most of the kinds of enhancement you've talked about won't be available to the general public. It's only the rich who are going to afford to use these designer drugs and so on. That's a very serious concern but I also think that we shouldn't assume that important enhancements will all be available only to the rich. Cognitive enhancement drugs might be an example of something that originally would be quite expensive but then once they go off patent and can be produced generically they might turn out to be as cheap as a cup of coffee.
