Isn't It Amazing When You Get a Script Commission?

I did a short for Channel 4 about six years, coming up six years ago. And I got a script commission off the back of that. It was like my whole adult life has just been writing stuff. But then obviously when you get the series, it becomes your soul thing. We just couldn't quite get the chemistry right for the show and the surrounding characters. Also, I made myself too busy over the years to really get my head in it. He was like, what should I call it? Apple. Apple.
