You got to make sure that those recovery, easy recovery days, come after the hard days, the quality days or the long runs. And once you can groove into a routine that's developed over a period of four to six weeks, then that is going to create a situation that's repeatable. That becomes like eating and sleeping and breathing, that becomes just something you do as a part of life," he says.
