The Differences Between Extremists and Moderates

In terms of whether extremists or moderates are better exemplars of social desirability bias, it's actually complicated. Something that sounds really good is by any means necessary, which is a standard extremist thing to say. But then it's a say, well, what about if we have to go and motor babies in order to get it? No, definitely not motoring babies. That's also social desirable bias. And that's where a lot of the gap between moderate to extremist is. Extremists will have some slogan that sound really good, but then they also bite a bunch of ugly bullets about the implications of those.
