"I don't actually want to write a biography of a disease or of a person," he says. "What I am interested in is not telling writing down the story of something, but like finding ways to name things that haven't been named effectively" He was hoping somebody could coin a term for his understanding of what he's trying to do with writing,. But biology is taken. What about autobiography? Do you think I could make autobiography? The art of writing memoir? Autobiology is just medicine. It's like human anatomy. How pretentious would it be if I wrote an autobiography and titled it something colon and autobiography? Ooh, very bad."
