If the sums had been correct at the very start, and one had realized that to make a a uranium bomb would have required ten times as much as they thought, whether the project would have started at all er well, of curse, we can never know the answer to that. But there's so many things that had to be just in the right place at the right time, or the wrong place at the wrong time,. whichever the metaphor in this case is
