The Pleasure of God in the Death of His Son

Gospel can be such an expansive word, is it not? We could stretch its meaning into its broadest senses and catalog some of God's many pleasures in the fullness and expanse of this reality we call the gospel. This is the good news that Jesus saves sinners so much to celebrate here. John celebrated much of it last night, like the heart of the Father, the good pleasure of the Father in giving his children the kingdom.
