Photography and the Importance of Simulation and Reproduction
Photography is a recording of light. And sothe the light on these objects as we saw it in it, in the images, was was faked or constructed. The world itself cannive become turned into a kind of sculptural object through photography. It made me immediately think of work by thomas demand who will reconstruct familiar scenes paper and then photograph the models before destroying them. I've read that you've spoken of images as a kind of cast as well.
