Socrates and the Thirty Tyrants
Socrates was suspected of having, especially because he had been part of this enohigh athenian intellectual culture. The regime of the three tyrants was extremely a cruel and involved the murder or exile of people who were thought of as opposed to the regime. So socrates says in plato's apology that when the oligarchy came into power, the 30 commissioners ordered him to fetch leon of salamis from his home for execution. And so he seized the democratic government and consumed with paranoia in the wake of its loss in the peloponnesian war.
