He wanted to re release it. He thought it was really important, because the legacy of the wild flowers album loomed large in his career and he knew that the second half of wildflowers was an important statement. His issue was didn't want to put it out as a new tom petty album,. cause it's not a new tom petio albums recorded 25 years ago. The point was, i can't do this now. And sa, prolific period. This is an extension of that moment. So i think that was his thing twas like i have changed as an artist since then. There's something about the artist's work that has a little bit of a diary like aspect.
