The Differences Between Buddhism and Theism
Buddhism has a very different frame for explaining those things where solitude, I think in many ways, becomes almost synonymous with Nirvana. In Tibetan, the word solitude is also synonym for empty. To be solitary is to be empty of something but also empty of your attachments and fears. As you dwell in that kind of emptiness, another Buddhist term, then you are, as it were, learning how to be most radically alone.
