And so what happens is the wolves settle into predictable patterns of behavior. But human beings do that cause we've got this next level of cognitive ability, imaginative ability. We manifest our motivated behavior partly bcause we depend on each other, like the wolves depend on eachOther. There's an ethic that emerges out of the interactions between those motivations. And that ethic manifests itself in a certain kind of patterned behavior.
