Lane: There's been a lot of talk about what these large language models like chat GPT can do. But as our resident language expert, what do you think it means for languages? Lane: What's really interesting is that chat GPT seems to be excellent with languages that are so much smaller than the languages. So we're seeing that less data is needed for such language systems than we used to think. And I think that in itself is really interesting technologically and it could be a good thing for smaller languages.
