Best players are chunking information so they can hold more information, i suppose, subconsciously, in long term memory. And it helps them to predict what's going to happen next. These skills do develop through prolonged engagement in the right type of tice and in match play over a periad of time. Some people in the game feel that this is a skill that that can't be taught. The evidence strongly suggests that that isn't the case.
