Overcrowding in the National Parks

Great smoky mountains, a park, had 14 million visitors last year alone. Both yosemite and yellowstone saw huge surges in attendance following the pantemic. 85 % of national parks have harmful air pollution caused by vehicle traffic. That's unsafe for humans and native species. And the national park service has asked visitors to start managing their own human waste as its polluting water systems in the parks.
