"I don't think we're going to get a significant downturn in the major economies," he says. "The problem is actually a lot more granular that lower income groups, I think, are already suffering", Senator adds. If firms and households are more resilient, it just means that the central banks will have to do more - which could lead to a harder landing if there's more tightening ahead.
