Carlton: I still like multiple things files because you know what? I see people jump into a lot of hoops trying to fit everything into the environment variables only pattern. Adam: Maybe it's time for the pendulum switch back another way. Carlton: You shouldn't put your secrets in the file itself, but sometimes there's various bits and bobs that you need to customize per environment. It's much more suited to have a separate settings file for them trying to push all of that into environment variables.
