The Importance of Unifying Characters
Trying to unify the disparate characters was a big priority. When we were doing fire, all the tests of fire felt like very different looks than where water was until we found this quote unquote line work that JC is talking about or the edges like you're saying. So anytime we had a dark scene, we couldn't block her out to have us focus on something else because this whole game is all about trying to lead the eye to something. And so there was new like sort of camera work, we had to figure out to like work around that.
