I think fundamentally the place that an organisation is positioned would firstly shape their identity. So if a football organisation is located in perhaps an area that is historically a lower socio-economic status, of socio- economic status, that might be an identity that they enjoy conforming to. There are working class, blue collar kind of team and that shapes their practice tasks,. It shapes their broader ecology, their supporters shape their club from that perspective versus clubs that perhaps historically have been located in more affluent areas.
