Keep It Contained Is Good Advice, Right?
Keep itself contained is probably good advice. If you pull your error strings into a central spot, you're doing internationalization of your application. This can be helpful. I like to use warning level when it's not my responsibility, my job to fix it. Some other downstream system is misbehaving something thatlike it's useful for me to go find but it's going to be more useful probably for somebody else than me.
