Koala and the Classroom Environment
Alex Best: Koala is a great way to engage students in reading and student writing as well in the classroom. He says teachers care about engagement, motivation and social emotional development are two of the biggest ingredients of that learning process. The company has also created an image search tool called D.I.R.E.Reading which can be used for teaching at four grade levels or even higher. best: We don't want to prescript too much but we need to get closer to where students are before they actually meet their goals.
