i is a very hard thing to define for an ordinary person. Machine learning is a particular type of soft weath that learns from experience. Without the detailed recipe, it would be able to figure out what the final bake should look like. The earliest versions of artificial intelligence needed to have every last step spelt out in great, great detail which made them very brittle. And so to day, systems largely use machine learning.
