The Power of Emotional Attachment to Israel
Friedman: I completely agree with the fact that he's saying what you should care about as Israelis is not Americans who care too much. That was very powerful. He said, look, Joe Biden is the last in the democratic world as in capital D party who feels like that. There aren't hordes and hordes of American Jews in his kind of position who are as bound up with Israel as he is. It's a lifelong attachment. We should hand out some awards as tradition demands. Do we go positive with some men's awards or do we go plunge into the global? I say plunge right in.
