Orchids in the Wild Forest

Hooded orchids have very complex pollination syndromes most of them are deceptive i don't think any of them are rewarding so either sex or food deception um and this one was probably the most common one we ended up seeing just in numbers although it felt like it was one of those things where the handful of ferns we saw them on were it right and they really weren't in the rest of the forest. They seemed to be in areas that were closer to water so if there was like a waterfall or we went to one area that had a lake they were on the trees well i mean we were on a trail also.
