The University's Response to Sonda's Death
The 18 members of the group all came from very wealthy and influential families. The case wouldn't even be seen by the court system until the end of 2020. Twenty university professors wrote an open letter demanding stronger punishments for the group. After three years, only seven of them were still in school and they were finally expelled. But maybe that just goes to show how much power these families held. One of the group's dad was a very high up judge.
